Military sector

support in designing solutions and in military market procedures.

Solutions in this area often require holistic knowledge of the market and historical knowledge of the products operating under it. Knowledge of client needs and their sources increases the effectiveness of TELKOM's activities. This knowledge invariably supports the implementation and service of end recipients on the Polish military market. Combining historical knowledge, the network and knowledge of ITC (information and communication technologies) allows us to effectively introduce new solutions to the market and handle complex, specific procedures operating in the military sector.

Wireless terrestrial communication – radio lines

Between 1992-1995, TELKOM (formerly TELZUT) worked on the concept of a Mobile Digital Radio Line for Telekomunikacja Polska TP SA, as a component of the country's critical infrastructure. The project was successfully implemented in 1994-1998. During the period of digitization of telecommunications networks, MCLR mobile communication nodes periodically replaced fibre optic lines until they were built and launched. In the MCLR project, we gained extensive experience and competences in implementing mobile broadband digital transmission in the high 15 GHz frequency bands. Currently, our communications and IT experts design systems, turning customer requirements into modern solutions.

Satellite communication – OneWeb

For several years, TELKOM has been involved in the development and implementation of mobile satellite terminals based on low-speed satellites of the European OneWeb system. The project aims to secure a mobile transmission network for directing and commanding troops in real time and securing backup transmission connections for elements of critical infrastructure in the country.
